Sanjay Dutt granted 14 day furlough

We had recently reported that actor Sanjay Dutt had applied for a 14 day furlough for his leg treatment which has now been granted by the jail authorities. Sanjay Dutt has been out of jail for about 14 days already as he was granted with a parole a few days before. 

And now, the actor will return to his cell on October 29. The parole was too granted by the court on medical grounds post which this extension was granted. 

Sanjay Dutt is currently serving imprisonement for 42 months on the grounds of illegally possession of arms and ammunitions during the 1993 Mumbai blasts.

Son Of Sardaar (2012)

Son of Sardaar, also known by the abbreviated form SOS, is an upcoming Bollywood romance drama film directed by Ashwni Dhir a remake Telugu movie Maryada Ramanna directed by S. S. Rajamouli, which in itself is a remake of the 1923 American silent movie Our Hospitality starring Buster Keaton and Natalie Talmadge. The film features Ajay Devgn, Juhi Chawla, Sanjay Dutt and Sonakshi Sinha in the lead roles. Longtime associate and Ace cinematographer Aseem Bajaj is handling the camera once again for Dhir. The film is scheduled for release on 13 November 2012; hence competing against Yash Chopra's Jab Tak Hai Jaan. Recently Himesh Reshammiya was roped in to compose the music along with the famous lyricist Sameer Anjaan.

Sanjay should do more comedy films: Ajay Devgan

Ajay Devgan was last seen shooting for his home production Son Of Sardar which also stars his good friend Sanjay Dutt. Ajay was seen giving important advice to Sanjay.

According to Ajay, Sanjay should do more comedy films as serious roles can affect his image. A source was quoted as saying “Sanjay has done too many serious roles in films such as Agneepath and Department so Ajay took out time to give Dutt some advice to brush up his comic timing.”

Ajay who has had great luck with comedy films like Golmaal3, All The Best and Bol Bachan to name a few, feels that Sanjay too can have blockbuster hits by doing comedy.
